Novelette Gonzales-Barnes
Novelette is from Cavaliers, a small farming community in the hills of St. Andrew. She recounts trying to catch colours of the hills around Lawrence Tavern Primary School and receiving formal introduction to art at Oberlin High School.  Entries in the Festival Fine Art Exhibition earned her six awards; five merits and a bronze medal.  Favourable reviews of her work were published in the Jamaica Gleaner, Jamaica Journal and Who Is What Periodical. Novelette’s specialty is Kaleidoscope Landscapes.  Her ambition is to continue expressing her soul through her art while striving for perfection.  She is a wife and mother of two.
