In these Terms and Conditions ‘you’ means you the customer while ‘we’ means Jamaican Products. These Terms and Conditions together with your Order constitute the entire Contract between you and Jamaican Products for the supply of products. The Contract can only be varied in writing by letter or email.
Jamaican Products aims to provide complete, accurate, up-to-date information on our website. Unfortunately, it is not possible to ensure that every website is completely free of human or technological errors. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions after an order has been submitted and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Although Jamaican Products makes every effort to display up-to-date information on our website, we are not responsible for any items that are out of stock or are discontinued while displayed online.
By placing an Order on the Jamaican Products website, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected based on these Terms and Conditions. Jamaican Products does not formally accept your offer until payment is made in full and the funds are cleared.
If for any reason we cannot process or accept your Order after payment is received we will contact you by email or telephone.
We will notify you when your order is completed and dispatched.
Jamaican Products currently accepts payment by PayPal, Stripe Gateway (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and Direct Bank Transfer. Payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need. We do not store card details on our server.
We will email a tax invoice to you with your Order Confirmation. Your tax invoice is your proof of purchase.
Jamaican Products purchases include GST where applicable.
The price of products shown excludes shipping costs and packaging as appropriate, which are shown separately.
Jamaican Products only ship to Australia, using Australia Post and other national couriers. See the Delivery and Shipping page for details.
Jamaican Products is committed to reducing our impact on the environment. Thus we use recycled newsprint and cardboard boxes where practical to form our packaging components. By recycling the packaging we contribute to reducing the use of raw materials and also reducing the amount of waste in landfill sites.
Jamaican Products offers Gift Vouchers that never expire. An email address of the recipient is required. Buyers can choose to add creative wording in a message or name to personalise the Gift Voucher.
Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash. The voucher will expire when the stored value on the voucher is exhausted.
There will be no replacement for lost or stolen gift vouchers.
A Gift Voucher is the perfect gift to give to someone you know, be it a loved one / colleague / friend.
Special Order Policy
All special order items are imported specially for you, so Jamaican Products requires a full non-refundable deposit when your order is placed. Should you cancel the special order you will forfeit the deposit.
There are absolutely no returns on special order items.
Jamaican Products will provide a quotation identifying price, minimum quantity and an estimated lead time as shipping times may vary. Our quotation/estimate is valid only if at least a minimum quantity is ordered and paid for within 30 days.
We do our best and will keep a communication channel open with you regarding your order as sometimes things happen that we cannot control. Please be sure to check your email and spam folders for email communications from Jamaican Products.
Jamaican Products endeavours to keep our customers 100% satisfied at all times. If you are dissatisfied with the product you have received, please contact us within one day of delivery to discuss.
All items are packed with care and individually checked prior to dispatch. If a product is delivered damaged, please notify us immediately. Please use Australia Post Regular Mail or other national couriers for the agreed return of the damaged product and include a copy of your order with the return.
Jamaican Products cannot be held responsible for any injuries, loss or damage sustained by the use of any of our products. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the products are suitable for their requirements. We will not accept any liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has occurred. This includes loss or damage resulting from delivery to unattended addresses where the sender has opted to have the item left at the premises if no one is home.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
