Jerk seasoning powder – Use as a seasoning for all fish, meats, vegetables or tofu either tossed or steamed. Also use to improve the flavour of omelette, soups and gravies.
Recipe for baked chicken fillet
Heaped tsp Jerk Seasoning per chicken fillet
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Add jerk seasoning and bread crumbs to freezer bag. Place fillet in freezer bag, close and shake to coat fillet evenly with jerk seasoning mix. Sit for a few minutes or overnight if preferred.
Pre-heat oven to 220 degrees C. Bake in oven for 10 minutes then turn fillet and bake for 8 minutes.
For a quick meal, under half hour preparation, serve chicken with microwave baked potatoes and tossed salad.
