You are invited to celebrate two significant Sydney Caribbean community November 2014 anniversaries. It has been 30 years since the formation of the Sydney Windies Cricket Club (SWCC) and 10 years since CaribOz was established.

To celebrate the 30 year milestone SWCC is holding an anniversary banquet on 29 November 2014:
The SWCC represented the first group whose membership consisted of mainly West Indians living in Sydney. Besides cricket the Group’s other common interests included West-Indian music, foods and social functions that reflected the Caribbean culture.

To celebrate the 10 year milestone CaribOz is hosting an anniversary picnic in the park on 23 November 2014:
10 years ago CaribOz was established to bring the people of the Caribbean together. CaribOz preserves and promotes the Caribbean and West Indian peoples’ identity and cultural heritage through educational and cultural programs, as well as assist our people integrate into the wider community.
